SENSEI SANDEEP DESAI conducts various T’ai Chi training programs and special corporate workshops in India and USA for more than 30 years.

T’ai Chi is a low-impact, low-risk form of physical exercise for the mind and body. Many recognize it as the ‘fountain of youth’ as it slows down the process of aging. The researchers recommend it to be beneficial for people suffering from osteoarthritis, diabetes, and musculoskeletal problems experienced from working on computers.

Most recently Sensei was invited to teach T’ai Chi at the prestigious Woodstock Festival in New York, USA, and conducted a Video session relayed in 20 countries, for Allianz during their annual International Meet.

  • Weekly online T’ai chi sessions on Zoom or any online platform can be organized for various teams as a part of their wellness routine.

Special Self-Defence Workshop for 
Women
 Personnel

We have recently conducted 18 sessions on self-defense for the women personnel of Tata Motors at 3 different locations in Mumbai.

With the number of assaults on women increasing by the day, this initiative is the way to go! Based on my thirty years of experience, I impart the hands-on, practical skills that anyone can learn without undergoing a tough long winded martial arts program. Apart from the psychological training, my training includes body alignment, how to keep the breath flowing during tense situations, and how to execute the techniques that can temporarily immobilize an opponent. Moreover, I drive home the importance of not getting intimidated during tense situations and infusing self-belief into the participants. I would be happy to associate with you in organizing similar workshops forwomen personnel.

T’ai Chi for Seniors*

Many people gravitate towards T’ai Chi because it improves their ability to balance. T’ai Chi is extremely useful, especially for older people whose fear of falling makes them afraid to go out. T’ai Chi for Seniors focuses on gentle movements to restore youthful pliability and joint mobility, increase circulation, improve balance, strengthen the immune system, and increase energy levels. Many of the exercises presented may be performed both sitting and standing.

Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression. The child is mentally free. We are the ones who place limitations on them. Treat him/ her like a champion. Train him/ her like a champion. Eventually, he/ she will be a champion.

T’ai Chi for Children offers healthy solutions to many of the challenges that children face growing up today. T’ai Chi training places great emphasis on healthy character development and ethical conduct.
